Know Before You Go!
The spring equinox falls during our workshop kickoff, but Wisconsin spring can be highly variable. Stevens Point received a record amount of snowfall in February,
so be ready for snow and slush on the ground. Good snow or hiking boots are recommended for outdoor activities. Temperatures can range from the 20s to 50s, so bring a variety of clothes. Workshop dress is casual, including the awards dinner Friday evening.
Keeping It Sustainable
Bring along your water bottle and travel coffee/tea mug!
Make sure to pack any items you might want on the trails, such as boots or binoculars.
Bring an item or two for the silent and live auctions to support scholarships for regional members. Bring your cash, card, or checkbook to partake in the bidding wars!
Bring your pennies and silver coins to join in the state/province Penny Wars!
Represent the place you call home with items for the state/province baskets.
Bring an instrument to jam with new and old friends at the evening music room. The music room is located at the Country Inn & Suites meeting room. The room is reserved from 8-10 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 p.m. Thursday.
Bring your job announcements or resumes to share!
A free shuttle will run between the host hotels and the Dreyfus University Center throughout the workshop. In keeping with our sustainability theme, we encourage you to take the shuttle. It's also a great chance to sit with and meet someone new.
The shuttle will run:
The shuttle schedule is also listed in your workshop guide. If you have shuttle bus questions, please contact Logistics Chair Megan Espe at email@example.com or 715-830-9434.
